The Scoop

scoop Disney is doing a college version of Study Hall and Ryder is happy to announce that he has signed on. Filming is scheduled to start this summer.

scoop Listen for Awards talk about Greensky to start up again with Oscar and Globe season just around the corner. Now that Wise–Up is done, Ryder’s thinking of getting back with Disney for another installment in the Study Hall series. Will let you know when it’s official.

scoop SAG is having a gathering at La Finitia and we’ll be there to celebrate the wrap of Wise-Up production (it has a name now!). Ryder’s glad for the time to do some relaxing again.

scoop Make sure to buy a copy of The Criers on DVD tomorrow.

scoop Back in Europe for the Warsaw International Film Festival. Taking a break from production with Spike, but plan to return to filming later in the month.

scoop Check out People magazine’s 50 Most Beautiful People this week. Ryder made the up-and-coming list. Aiming for the cover next year :)

scoop Production for the Spike Jonze project started, which has slowed the Black Pirate promo rounds. Ryder made it back in time to do some great interviews for the flick which you’ll have to catch on the special edition DVD.

scoop And . . . Ryder’s back, with so many Black Pirate photo shoots to make up, and parties to attend; it feels like he never even took a break. And FYI, we will not be discussing any family-related tabloid lies on this site, and we suggest you don’t waste your time doing searches for it on others. Instead, follow our production blog for updates on the new Spike Jonze unnamed project.

scoop The Black Pirate, Ryder’s blockbuster summer tentpole, opens today (July 4th). Costar Amanda Bynes will attend the promos since Ryder’s still on break.

scoop After winning the Prix Un Certain Regard at Cannes, Ryder thinks it’s time for a reprieve from the daily grind. The production schedule has been cleared and flights have been booked. But don’t worry, he won’t go far. Check back for info on summer releases.

scoop The hype won’t stop, so Ryder’s been kept busy attending Greensky promo events at numerous European locals. Here with Focus, but able to catch a few of Disney’s bashes at the Austrian and Belgian International Film Festivals. It was good to hang with old Study Hall friends. Look for Ryder at Cannes later this month.

scoop Off to the UK for some BBC interviews and the start of our European circuit.

scoop The Criers was number one last weekend, which we celebrated with the cast at an exclusive gathering hosted by Vogue at the LA Hilton.

scoop Though the buzz is still all about Greensky, make sure to check out Ryder’s new release this month, The Criers. He’ll be at the New York premiere along with co–star Christian Bale, and then he’ll be hitting up the Paramount after party.

scoop Make sure to buy the February 14 edition of Entertainment Weekly to catch a three-page spread on Greensky. It also takes a nice little tour of Ryder’s past indie successes, including (My Life) and The Aces.

scoop Double Date out on DVD this month. Make sure to buy your copy.

scoop Just back from the Berlin International Film Festival, where Greensky won the Audience Award. We can’t pronounce it in German, but we sure are proud of it.

scoop Tomorrow Ryder will be attending the In Style smash for Jupiter, produced by Warner Bros. Worked with them on Napolean: The Musical and would like to catch up with President and COO Alan Horn.

scoop Check out Greensky, released nationwide today. We think it’s Ryder’s best work yet. Focus Features is throwing a nice shindig for it at the Renaissance tomorrow night.

scoop Since production on The Criers has just closed, Ryder will be on a mini promo hiatus to go surfing in Hawaii for a week. Looking for some private retreat time by day, but planning to party at the Fusion Waikiki by night.

scoop Welcome to Ryder’s website. Wer’ll be updating this section periodically with information about his upcoming projects, public appearances, and his life in general. Enjoy!
